District 23, explained
District 23 was a six-week basketball and culture programme that Jordan Brand ran in Paris during the 2024 Olympic summer. Its base was the former Tati department store on Boulevard Barbès, with open courts, an art exhibition and a summer school for young creatives spread across the neighbourhood.
This site is an independent reference guide. It collects what was there, where it happened and the context around it: the building's history, the neighbourhood, the basketball tournament of Paris 2024 and the sneaker line that gave the project its number.
